The project Antique Effect is an art workshop of painting on wood and wooden surfaces of interior items for craft lovers and interior decorators. All works are made in the same style of painting designed by Anastasija Michailova - project ‘s founder and its mastermind.

The aesthetic effect of our wall wooden panels and screens through a combination of pictorial image and natural texture of wood perfectly compliment any interior from centuries-old rooms to ultra-modern halls and make each of them a unique piece therein.

And definitely it is a perfect solution for those who like classic or retro-style interiors as well as for Loft-style lovers. However, it does not exclude the possibility to harmoniously fit them in other interiors provided that the necessary decorative tricks take place to maintain visual balance and harmony.

Anastasia Michailova graduated from The Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design with a degree in environmental design. Born and grew up in Klaipeda, Lithuania. Her passion for painting appeared at a very young age and became very strong after watching local famous artist work at the gallery, who specialized in painting on wood and wooden surfaces. Up to this point Anastasija tried various painting techniques, therefore when she suddenly discovered painting on wood, she fell in love in the process itself unconditionally and forever.

There is no other material, than wood, bearing such a high emotional energy. Being an active member of the creative process, wood takes the mood of the artist in and breathes out, spreading it out to the audience and adding the charm to the painting.
