In this class we will be painting iris flowers with acrylic paints on wooden panel. If you don’t have wooden panel, you can take plywood or canvas, where the latter is better to choose fine-grained linen.
I will show how to transfer the image to the canvas, how to paint smooth color transitions as well as the principles of glazing. You will manage all these techniques even without having special artistic skills.
You will learn the basic principles of working with acrylic paints. Step by step I will help you to arm yourself with new skills and gain self-confidence. If it’s your first experience, it may inspire you to further creativity and even developing your own style.
